Does anyone grow these roses, from Whit Wells?

| I bought some of Whit Wells roses and I would like to know if anyone grows them and what they think about them for the garden and shows. They are "Best of '04", "Grandma's Baby", and "Rocky Top". Also, woould they be classified as miniature or mini-flora? Thanks for any information. |

| Best of '04 is a mini while Rocky Top is a miniflora. Is the third one Grandma's Baby or Grandma's Girl? If the latter, it is a mini. I haven't heard of Grandma's Baby. |

| How do you get a hold of Whit Wells. I got several minis from him in Okahoma and I got a question. Is he reachable. I think Jack Walters sales some of his roses. Newer ones. Wondering??? I really would rather call him myself and then buy where ever he choses me too. |

I would love to get ahold of a climber he did a few years ago called Well's CLimber. Arena had it and it was stunning in California. Maybe I should give him a holler myself. Trish |

He really is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable rosarians around. And always willing to share that knowledge. We (the Memphis Rose Society) are having our picnic at his house/nursery this afternoon, which is always a treat. One of my favorite Whit Wells roses is Louisville Lady, a deep pink mini-flora that has terrific form. Glenn |
