Fragrance Contest 2004 ARS National Convention in San Diego May 7

| On May 7, 2004 at the 2004 ARS National Convention there will be a most fragrant rose contest. You do not have to register for the convention to enter. Entries are from 8 AM to 10 AM and judging will be at 11 AM. We will have Loren Nancarrow (Chan.10 news), John Bagnasco (Garden Compass Magazine and Radio show), and Tricia Craven Worley (San Diego Home and Gardens Lifestyles Magazine and Chan.8 news) as judges. Just bring your fragrant roses to enter and we will provide your properties and set up tables for grooming. |

| Was won by Sue Streeper with Fragrant Plum. The award was a Cake Dish and ladel. It was wrapped in a beautiful rose paper with the biggest bow I have ever seen. Sue was very surprised, she waited for Dick to be around before she opened her award. |
