Fall pruning

Well, it's getting close to that time of year for me to start pruning for the only show I'll be able to do this fall (9/28). I always allow my roses to rest a little during the summer. Don't feed June or July. Only water and remove the spent blooms. Will put down fert. and fish emulsion this weekend and give them a good kick for the fall. Anyone else out there doing any fall shows??

RE: Fall pruning

Good luck at your show!

We just finished our district show, and my society's show is this Saturday. I have nothing to enter (maybe Blushing KO). I hope to get some entries (I am Chair of Judges), but I'm afraid that our exhibitors are gearing up for mini nationals in NC in two weeks.
