Pink Sport of Kardinal

| I seem to recall a few years back that a prominent rosarian had discovered a pink sport of Kardinal and it was on the cover of The Rose magazine. I also seem to recall (but the ARS can't verify it) that it won a silver medal from the ARS trial bed a couple of years later. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I'd like to know if it is commercially available, since I would buy it at once! In my cool summer climate, Kardinal is one of my best show roses. |

| It is 'Pink n' Pretty'. The sport was discovered by my friend Bobby Palmer in his garden in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It won a Silver Certificate in 1999 from the ARC trials. Sorry, it is not commercially available. He also has another rose called 'Pretty 'n' Pink'. Peter Tujunga, Calif. |
