Just go back from the show. It's a lot of work, I'm soaking my feet in ice water right now.

I won best Hybrid Tea Spray and in the Photo category, best Garden Scene.

Went to the Gwinnett Rose show yesterday. I really didn't expect to do much as far as winners because most of my garden bloomed out last weekend. I knew some heavy exhibitors were going to be there with their gardens blooming at the right time. But I knew I had some good OGR's and a couple of good mini's. The only HT that was in bloom was Let Freedom Ring and 1 bloom from my Louise Estes. Anyway, here are my surprising results. Mini Queen---Soroptimist International. Mini King---Glowing Amber. Mini/Miniflora Spray---Soroptimist International. HT Collection of 3---Let Freedom Ring. HT Cycle of Bloom---Let Freedom Ring. HT Princess---Louise Estes. All of my OGR's REALLY did good. Every OGR that I entered got a Blue ribbon. Pink Pet, The Green Rose, Compte de Chambrod and a nice spray of Rosa Rugosa Alba that won Doweger Queen AND Best Horticulture Exhibit of the show. I also did 2 arrangements that receive red (2nd) ribbons. Not to bad for a garden that was almost out of bloom. I was VERY surprised and a happy camper.

Congratulations, buford!! Your rose spray and photo are beautiful! Lol, I know all about soaking feet after a show!
