| Deborah, The answer to your question as far as I can tell, is no. “Hacienda” (ORAdal) and “Firefighter “(ORAdal) is one and the same rose. The code name is the name that should be attached to the rose no matter what other name it is sold under worldwide. “Hacienda” (ORAdal) was introduced 2000 and probley registered by Orard with the Rome Registration Center, but not with the International Registration Center for Roses (RIAR). Orard Pierre registered on 1-8-2004 “Hacienda” (ORAdal) with IRAR under the Approved Exhibition Name (AEN) of “Firefighter”. This is the name that must be used to exhibit the rose. In the 2004 Handbook “Hacienda” is nor listed. It is listed in the 2005 publication even thought it is not in commerce in North America. What is in commerce and sold in North America is “Firefighter” (ORAdal). Edmunds catalogue may have been printed prior to “Firefighter” IRAR registration. I hope this will help you. Ron S. |
