RE: Ann Lorentz

Another Ann Lorentz- bred by Speks Roses - sorry that's all I can dig up in Helpmefind Roses. This rose is very free flowering, healthy and resistant to the heaviest rain. Each flower perfect, huge and long lasting on long stems - THE PERFECT ROSE!

Thanks Rosynut. She truly is a beauty. The shading, form and color of fleshy pink showing on my monitor - gazooks, so beautiful I'd buy her in an instant. And the lasting quality! I found her on Facebook and wondered if she originated in So. Africa. Hope she becomes available. How did you come by yours?
RE: Ann Lorentz

Now I see. Spek's represents about 20 rose breeders. And Ludwig's Roses in So.Africa sells it.
RE: Ann Lorentz

I'll ask Ludwig today if he knows if its available elsewhere - maybe under another name. The rose was named after a SA personality.

Thanks. I made a trip to a nearby town today to check out their bareroot selection. I couldn't believe it. The very same old HT's as being offered here. From the 60's!! They did have 4 Graham Thomas intros - Winchester Cathedral, Tess of the D'Ubervilles, The Pilgrim and Mary Rose. Came home empty handed. (Weeks has cornered the market here this year).
