The posts that were here earlier, including mine, have disappeared! Very mysterious. And I was commenting on the beauty of your garden. I especially like the rose draping the iron fence, something I have always dreamed about.
I hope this post stays put! Anyway, thank you for letting us see these gorgeous photos. Diane

Oh, Oh...maybe I'm mixed up about photos. January brain. This is just gorgeous. Another photo I want to jump into--or maybe just walk into at my age. Diane

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Like everyone else, I am really missing my flowers....especially roses!Bustopher, yes, you are seeing lilies and daylilies. Had a gopher go thru the garden last year and eat 100`s of lily bulbs. I really don`t know if I will try and replace them. They will be greatly missed, tho. THey make such a nice compliment to the roses. I also enjoy about 75 clematis that get along so well with the roses. Thanks again for your kind words. Lesley

How awful about your lily bulbs. Gophers be damned. Your lily photo above is just so exquisite and the coloring so subtle. I am enjoying looking at your photos over and over. The level of design artistry in your garden is amazing. Do you have any help in maintaining such extensive plantings? It would be a full time job, I would think. Please show us more photos, and thanks so much. Diane
