Hi Everybody,

this is my first post on the Rose Gallery!

Just want to share two photos of my favorite rose from last year 'Our Lady of Guadalupe'. I am especially fond of the silvery-pink color of the flowers. The photos were taken in November 2008.

Thanks everyone for your kind words about my photos.

prettypetals and zeffyrose - special thanks to you for the warm welcome to GW.

I found two more photos of 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' from last year, hope you enjoy them! The rose was approximately one year in my garden at that time and I was pretty pleased with its performance, but I know it's too early for a final judgment!

the sparkle from the decoration looks like the Moon, so beautiful, indeed! Very romantic.

WOW oh WOW!!!!

Yes welcome!!!

I tried OLOG one year, and it didn't flower and died over winter. Such a shame when it can look like that.

For me, this rose gets better and better, bigger and bigger, and has huge flushes. You should really enjoy it. Very nice photos!

bgrose - the "decoration" is a rose ball (made out of glass) that I brought back with me from Germany.

canadian rose - thanks for the welcome! Too bad that OLOG didn't make it for you.

kathy9norcal - that sounds very promising, especially since you are relatively close to my climate zone. Can't wait to see how she's doing this year.

Here is one more photo of her in a "wet look"!

Thanks for the lovely photos. I've ordered her for this spring. Hope mine turns out to be this lovely also.

the decoration symbolizing the Moon makes your photo very original, I think this rose should be watched under the moon and the stars with a glass of wine.

Thank you.
