| One of my favourites. I've already posted this many years ago .Three years ago I moved to a house which once belonged to my mother. I gave her this rose 7 years ago .
I had to move roses (50 plants) from my previous garden in the middle of August . A big and risky job , believe me. Lost "Yellow Charles Austin" and "Long John Silver" at the time - my fault . "Souveir De Brod" is a rose from 1886 , bred by Geschwind. A big , thorny , once flowering , hardy rose with beautiful scent .To get a colour like this , it has to be grown in semi shaded position with strong , slightly acid soil.Kindest regards from Slovenia , Henrik |

| Lovely photo! I bought this one last year - after seeing pictures such as Henrik's. Mine is still in pot but I am very anxious to get it in the ground and get it going. Lynn |
