| This group grabbed me with Spellcaster and Spirit of Glastnost, Beth! Pat, you make me really wish my Strike It Rich had made it! |
| Yummy ones, Pat! Love that SINGIN' THE BLUES. Another one I have that doesn't bloom much. Bummer.. |
| There are too many great roses in the S's. Beth, you have so many beautiful ones it's difficult to name them all. Pat, beautiful roses as usual. Love your Sunsprite and your Sweet Surrender, I really like that rose, it's a good one. They are all gorgeous! I have two S roses SHEILA'S PERFUME - It wasn't easy to decide which picture to post, this rose can be so changeable, depending on the weather, it's always lovely. |

| SUNSPRITE - This is such a nice yellow. Since I don't have Julia Child |

| 'Sunsprite' is sure catching my eye. Usually I'm not a yellow fan. Not even 'Julia C.' tempted. Look at 'Spellcaster'. What an elegant bud. Reminds me of that Korean skater's final performance. Here's one that doesn't seem ever to have been registered. It was a cheapie at Home Depot. Yucky growth habit, not vigorous, leaves yellow. All in all a lousy looking bush. Until it blooms. |

| You have quite a collection of pictures here. All the pictures are nice from everyone for that matter. I was looking closely at the Swarthmore rose because that one is not typical for that variety because its shading around the edges of the petals is very delicate and barely visible. Usually if it has been in the sun it gets quite dark around the petal edges and can look blotchy. Was this one in the shade, or at a time of year with a lower sun angle by any chance? Just curious. The rose itself is probably prettier than the picture is showing. Thanks for all of the pictures. |
| Yeah that wasn't the best photo of SWARTHMORE. Probably was the best I had from last yr. It grows in part sun/part shade and this was in early September. Unfortunately, it's not a great bloomer, for me. |
