Pat, I'm waiting with anticipation to see your yellow roses! Lesley - Love seeing your South Africa, it is a beautiful rose. I love your full bush shot of that one. Beth - You have some beauties. Love your Mellow Yellow and Gina L. Desert Peace and Tivoli Gardens are gorgeous. Thanks everyone.

Seems like I can have all kinds of roses blooming, every color you can think of and if the yellow ones are in bloom they are the roses everyone flocks to. Almost everyone likes yellow roses, that's been my experience anyway.

This may take awhile--I'm looking for some yellow pics I haven't shown much on this forum.

    Elina (grandiflora)--lovely pale yellow, disease-resistant

Well Being (Harkness shrub)--starts out red trimmed around the edges, then become all yellow as it matures.

Sweet Diana -- good mini, quite floriferous and disease-resistant

Here's one of the prettiest yellows in existence--Austin's Happy Child.

I have some other yellows, but some of you have already posted pics of them or I have posted them too often in recent weeks. Hope this selection gives you some less well-known ones to think about.

Lovely yellows, everyone. Kate - Happy Child is simply lovely!

Here's Molineux from January plonked into a small vase with Princess Alexandra of Kent on the left and two blooms of Young Lycidas on the right.

First Impression- This one was a waxed cane bareroot and it croaked on me. Canes turned black and the whole thing dried up. Bummer.

EveryoneâÂÂs pictures are so cheerful lookingâ¦yellow roses always make me smile. A realtor friend once told me if you want to sell your house quickly to plant yellow flowers out frontâ¦that yellow sticks in buyers' minds, and at the end of the day, people always remember the house with the yellow flowers. I definitely believe that to be true.

    Sunsprite

Eternal Flame (would grow this one for its fragrance alone)

    Gina Lollobrigida

Easy Going (fades from apricot yellow to buff yellow)

White Licorice (pastel yellow fading to white over time)

    And, of course, Julia Child:

And a few blends having very yellow moments

Everyone has so many wonderful yellows, I don't know where to begin. I always love Julia Child, a lovely rose. I agree that the Austin, Happy Child is beautiful. Kate, Jo, Brittie, Pat and Seil, you all have some gorgeous ones. For some reason during the past season, my Peace roses never were that yellow. The one pictured shows more yellow than most of them did.

    PEACE

Sara Ann - I love that colour combo of St Patrick with Olympiad!

Lesley - I've read a lot of great stuff about South Africa and nothing bad... may have to try it!

Seil - You ought to publish that pic of Golden Wings!

Julia Child is my only yellow... so far!
