This is a deep magenta-fuchsia that almost looks red. I'm taking care of a friend's garden so was glad it opened on my watch. I see it has earned an Excellent rating at HMF. I agree. Its name fits it. Voluptuous - Zary'03, aka Good Samaritan

Wow!! That's impressive!! What a beauty!!! I wish spring was here, then summer wouldn't be far behind. I'm sick of winter! Carol :) |

Your season is coming! I'm looking forward to everyone's photos. Seil ~ this one is 3 yrs. old now and still not a terribly large bush per CA standards. My friend is in her late 80's and thought it was red when she choose it!

Really pretty! (Does it sell better being called Voluptuous, I am wondering?) I have not seen this one before.

Iris, I've had mine for 6 or 8 years now and it's never bloomed well for me. It's down to a one cane wonder and may not even make it this winter.

That's sad Seil. Maybe Volup. cannot take the prairie winters. Good heads up for other gardeners. Phatboyrose --- lotsa pics please. What's in your hanging baskets this year?
