Very curious about garden web's resizing and it affects a pre-sized image.
640 width, 88.04kb (3+ kb are being added)

Colette being 4 inches wide and pinkish. Yes this is the same small apricot rose in my spring has sprung post.

My mother has an enormous, vigorous Colette- but mine (in the same town, bought from the same place) has never really taken off. How strongly scented is yours?

RE: same pic - originally at 800 pixel width

Here I resized at 800 pixel width before posting, it was 108.79 kb., now at 87.01 kb. in the preview. I'm trying to figure out if it's worthwhile to size it at 640 width before uploading.

zjw ~~ mine has a faint fragrance. I have allergies tho.
She takes a couple of years, like most roses, to start showing her stuff. The 1st and 2nd years I was disappointed.

I want to say that the colours in the second image aren't quite as vibrant, or possibly the lines are a touch fuzzier, but then I got back and forth and it's really hard to see any difference. If anything, the 640 width might be a touch sharper after GW's resizing, but I think the differences are minimal or even in my imagination...

Gorgeous roses, by the way!

Good eyes Redwolf. They were both sharpened the same but the smaller 640 showed the effect more. I think I'll size web-worthy ones to 640-width.
