| I've still got a good 6 wks before I start seeing things around here. If I ever make another road trip to Cal., I'm going to find me at least 2 Della Reese's. We can't get it on this side of the rockies. If the nursery that sells it would ship, I'd pay the$50/60 or whatever it cost to ship it to my garden. But they don't, so it looks like if I want a grafted bush, I'll need to come out there. What a bummer. By the way Beth, keep the photo's coming. |

| Della Reese is EXQUISITE!!!!! Are the blooms usually THAT purple??? I really like all of your roses - but Top Notch and Orange Juice are really pretty too!!

| Thanks guys. Yep DELLA REESE is that purple. She will turn a bit more magenta as she opens up. That's probably the purple-est bud I've ever gotten on her tho. You guys do know that Heirloom has DELLA REESE don't you? I mean she's sold out, but apparently they carry the rose. They got her from Cliff's EuroDesert Roses collection. Maybe you can email and ask if they plan on propagating any time soon! Worth a shot anyway! |

| A good start for the pictures. Thanks for the previews. I like the Della Reese and the Orange Juice. I have Della also, but at least your camera captures the color a whole lot better than the one I have. Mine is downright awful with some of the red-purples. If only somehow the fragrance could be captured in pictures. |

| Beth - I would agree, Della Reese is gorgeous, I've admired all your pictures of it, I really like the partially open bloom, very dramatic. All your roses are lovely. It is so nice to think that some of you have blooms, a little jealous, but happy for you! |
