Showing off Molineux

I've mentioned on several occasions that I planted three Molineux rather closely together to create the illusion of a larger, fuller, lusher Molineux. Just opening, here is Molineux, changing colors as usual. Golden apricot is the best I can describe the current shade, but my camera seems to emphasize the apricot more than the gold shades.

Molineux--lots of buds getting ready to open. The apricot color really came out in this one.

Garden view of Molineux--pink Earth Song in front, just beginning to open; Golden Showers climber in left background; some blue iris and blue clematis and purple salvia mixed in there also. (Doesn't my neighbor's garden form a nice backdrop for my garden!)

Well, that may be more about Molineux than you really wanted to know, but I really love my 3-in-1 Molineux. When he turns more yellow (when the weather changes), I'll show more pictures also.

I'll take the apricot over yellow any time.
Lovely garden and a beautiful rose.

Outstanding photos, Kate! Look at all those buds! You'll get to enjoy that one for a long time.

I love Molineux' deep yellow shade. Too bad she's not hardy in my zone 5a. Someone mentioned that she's low in thorns. Thanks for the pics., Kate.

Very pretty, Kate. It looks much happier in your garden than in mine. I had to give up on him. I think we are just too hot and dry here. I do miss it though.
