More first blooms of the year

Still have roses just beginning to bloom. Here is the latest batch.

Anne Boleyn--Austin shrub, shorter--about 3 ft tall. Hasn't been much of a bloomer so far--hope this is its year to shine.

Chrysler Imperial--just one bloom on the plant, but isn't it gorgeous!

Braveheart--one of my favorite shrubs--from Clements.

Mayflower close-up--Austin blooming like crazy this year!

{{gwi:208901}}

Well-Being--isn't this a charming bud!

Well-Being--here it is trying to open up. Love the color!

Eden climber--just starting to open. In about a week, it should be spectacular.

Dublin Bay--another climber on a pillar.

Double Knock Out--not bad looking blooms when they first open.

Molineux--I have another thread showing off this one, but since it just opened a couple days ago, I'm including one of the photos here also.

Center bed in backyard--overview

Black Iris--which is really different shades of dark violet/purple. My camera just couldn't handle that rich shade, but did a good job of capturing its dramatic qualities, didn't it!

Other than the iris, these blooms are all about 6 weeks early, what with our early spring. (And no, the tornados didn't pass through this part of Kansas, although tornados tend to be part of our usual springtime weather--unfortunately.)
