Everything looks great. Your picture of Tuscan Sun put that rose on my "must have" list. Please tell me how well the bush grows. What foliage I see is beautiful.

Lovely, lovely! Where did you get the Japanese rose?

Ken, it grows to about 4 plus feet and is narrower than wide. It is pretty full, not bare on the bottom. It took a while to establish--I think it was not getting enough water the first season. It is great now. In the heat, it fades but it isn't an ugly fade like so many others.
Snowheather, a GW friend sent it to me. I don't know where it may be available.

I've always liked Morden Blush. When we moved to our new house, there was a tiny (3 inches tall) rose stem that was struggling to grow under the thick rock mulch in the early spring. I recognized it as a rose, and had my husband dig it out (tree roots everywhere) and I potted it. It managed to grow a little, and I realized it was Morden Blush. It sure was one tough rose to survive where it was. It's really nice to see yours - it's such a beautiful rose bush!!!
