Rose photos on a cold, windy day

It's too cold and windy to garden today. I must be content with pictures only. Of course, I did my coffee walk earlier. So, here are a few more from recent, warmer days.

French Lace

Westerland is just beginning,

English Sachet, with only very mild scent, is heat tolerant (when you have heat)

Tuscan Sun, newer and a real favorite,

Morden Blush loves the cool,

Midnight Blue, just moved to a sunnier spot, first bloom. The blooms are quite small and darker than the photo.

Manyo, a Japanese rose,

Everything looks great. Your picture of Tuscan Sun put that rose on my "must have" list. Please tell me how well the bush grows. What foliage I see is beautiful.

Lovely, lovely! Where did you get the Japanese rose?

Ken, it grows to about 4 plus feet and is narrower than wide. It is pretty full, not bare on the bottom. It took a while to establish--I think it was not getting enough water the first season. It is great now. In the heat, it fades but it isn't an ugly fade like so many others.
Snowheather, a GW friend sent it to me. I don't know where it may be available.

Gorgeous! Love that MANYO. Wish it was available somewhere. Where did you get yours? Are you as totally sick of the cold wet weather as I am? I wish spring would get here already. I want warmth and dryness! And BLOOMS!

Wow!! English Sachet is gorgeous - by far my fav of your roses!!!! Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!

Manyo and Tuscan Sun are amazing too!! I didn't realize that Westerland had such pretty blooms.

I've always liked Morden Blush. When we moved to our new house, there was a tiny (3 inches tall) rose stem that was struggling to grow under the thick rock mulch in the early spring. I recognized it as a rose, and had my husband dig it out (tree roots everywhere) and I potted it. It managed to grow a little, and I realized it was Morden Blush. It sure was one tough rose to survive where it was. It's really nice to see yours - it's such a beautiful rose bush!!!

Thanks for sharing the beauty!!
Carol

French Lace is beautiful! And love the way Tuscan Sun faded.
