Hi All,

Spring is here in Northern California, greeting us with wonderful colors. I would like to share some of the roses in my garden.

My 1 year old Eden vines over the arbor are doing wonderfully this year. They almost reach the top of the arbor with tons of buds. I can't wait for them to open to share a full view of the arbor with you all.

As always, Tuscan Sun open first in my garden to greet Spring.

Crimson Bouquet looks great together with Brigadoon

How I love this beautiful bright red of Crimson Bouquet

1 year old Easy Does It is doing well. I really love her color and ruffles

They're all beautiful, KhaVi!

RE: Spring Greetings

Those plump buds and sumptuous blooms of Eden are pure eye candy, and Tuscan sun is so striking. But as seil said, they're all beautiful. Diane

Beautiful roses!! You obviously must spray. I'm in Northern CA also, and my garden is riddled with black spot and powdery mildew right now! (and aphids... yuck) Your roses look so clean and gorgeous!

RE: Spring Greetings

Thanks all for you nice words.
Beth, obviously I didn't show "not so nice" views of my roses, did I? :) Actually, some of my roses, i.e, Bewitched, Sally Homes... have powdery mildew too. However, Spring time is not as bad as near the end of Fall. I don't spray simply I have a lovely 3-year old daughter who also loves spending time in the garden and looking at Mommy's roses:) Regarding the aphids, here are the hints:) Eden and friends...

These cuties little ladybugs have helped cleaning up the garden. I also use the water hose twice a week.
Oh, I don't know if this is true or not, but a nice lady at my workplace told me that coffee grounds also helped to get rid of the aphids. So I went to Starbucks after pruning the roses and asked for the coffee grounds. I guess it didn't hurt:)

RE: Spring Greetings

Your roses is very nice. They are beautiful and colorful looking too.

RE: Spring Greetings

Beautiful roses. All look stunning but I like Easy Does it the most. Thanks for sharing the pics.
