This is truly the best time of year in my opinion. I love photographing first flush roses. Here are some more of my photos now that my webpage is up again.

Summer Fashion--My second rose because I wanted pink and yellow. Beginner's luck!

Lillian Austin bud. This is a fleeting rose that is so pretty when just opened. I wonder if it is just too hot here, but even in the cool weather, it doesn't last. Anyone have a different experience?

Givenchy, which I found at Regan's and fell in love with!

More French Lace, which I first saw in the Descanso's children's garden in Southern Cal.

Black Cherry A standard for me which doesn't seem to do well after the first flush. It may be getting its feet too wet?

Here is another of Priscilla Burton in her hot weather colors.

Ingrid Bergman, a very rewarding rose to grow.

Just thought I'd throw in a columbine with interesting colors.

Summer Fashion is a heart-stealer. I love that rose. When I first started looking for roses on the Internet, it was the one that I liked best. Thanks for showing such exquisite photos of it.

I never got it, because I didn't know about ordering roses online at that time.

Very pretty and good pictures. The first flush is my favorite for pictures, too. I grab my camera and clippers every morning and make the rounds, something always needs clipped or photographed.

Beautiful, Kathy! I'm so excited! My Summer Fashion hasn't bloomed in two years. I moved it last summer and I have a bud on it this spring!
