| Love your roses,Krista. Mortimer Sackler is just gorgeous. Too bad the name is so lackluster. I'm glad you have La France; it has to be one of the most fragrant roses I grow. Ingrid |

| So lovely, Krista! Whenever you post, I always feel like I'm walking into a ballerina garden with all those subtle special pinks....I just looooove La France especially! Mortimer Sackler reminds me of your beautiful Marchesa Boccella that I drooled over and wanted to get right away, before I realized that antiques really do not rebloom very well. Coincidentally, I just found out recently, that it looks like I will indeed be getting Marchesa. The nursery owner is a absolutely wonderful person and has always given me wonderful roses, so I will go ahead and "go along" with what comes my way....Besides, I will always remember how I first fell in love with your Marchesa...I just hope Kansas sun doesn't ruin her the way Kansas sun and Kansas thrips love to ruin pink colors.... |

| Romance. Mortimer Sackler is really something. Renee |

| Thank you, Ingrid, Serena, and Renee. Serena, Marchesa Boccella blooms might fade in intense sun, but the fragrance is so wonderful, I think you'll be pleased.... it repeats quite well, (although some of my antiques don't repeat as well...) Marchesa is a very reliable rose, easy to grow. |

| Every time I see a pic of La France, I wonder why I don't own one--it is so delicately beautiful. Yours has me wondering again. Kate |
| Thank you, Kate. It's a rose that you need, great fragrance and the old fashioned blooms mix well with modern roses. |
| I love all of these, but especially La France. I wish I could come over and take a whiff of the fragrance. Suebelle |
| I love all the delicate pinks, Krista! |
| Thak you Suebelle and Seil! Suebelle, La France has a wonderful fragrance, that special fragrance that makes the old Hybrid Teas extra special. |

| Pretty pictures! I can't believe you got blooms in Zone 4. |
| Thank you Ladyrose. I think I'm in zone 5a. These are sturdy Hybrid Teas. |
