I really like your front border. Your roses there seem to be happy and thriving. I personally like Eglantine a lot and I love Pretty Jessica. It always makes me happy seeing someone else growing her. She is such a lovely, good rose.

Thanks for your kind comments. Tea Clipper puts on this great show in April/May then grows and grows and doesn't bloom anymore (gee, never heard of a once blooming Austin rose). For this reason, I'm moving it next year. It's in valuable rose real estate. Eglantine puts on sort of the same heavy bloom in Spring then sporadically for the remainder of the season. It's just a nice, healthy looking bush. I might put Spice in its place...it would be next to Wm. Shakespeare 2000 - and the fragrance is the thing with this border. Or more likely, I'll put in another Austin. Jude? Lady Emma Hamilton? Decisions, decisions!
