'Red Elegance' Roseart

I used 6 roses in this work and a new technique where I used a colored pencil effect then went back and painted the rose. I also used one of the 8 bottles of wine that I have just for these rosearts that I make.(The way I got the blue bottle to show up like it did is I had two lights behind the bottle when I took the shot). The roses I used are Ingrid Bergman, Loving Memory, American Spirit(Bottom), Mirandy, Eagle and last Patriot.--Enjoy--Ron(P.S.--This work was requested by Brose from the gallery)

I find the new art very beautiful and at the same time I am so thrilled that you answered my request for which I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for choosing gorgeous red roses with perfect shapes and stems and color. I am so curions to know what is inside the bottle and what kind of wine you drink. thanks again for the lovely art, wine and roses definitely make a good match and the composition shows that you have a good taste.

Bgrose--This bottle was the first bottle of wine I brought for my collection.(I don't drink) My cousin stayed with us a few years ago and drank this bottle of Pinot Grigio and I kept the empty bottle and filled it with water to use in my work.--Ron

Red roses are my favorite so I really like this one. I also like the one rose color idea. I always enjoy your combinations....Maryl

Thanks again for posting red rose art, it is breathtaking!I love red roses so much, and I am always excited to see red roses, so yesterday I bought a new rose for myself, dark red one which is almost black. It is called Black Baccara.

Ron, do you collect bottles, is it your hobby, or do you collect wine, although you do not drink...confused...

So beautiful, I feel this technique reminds me of shadow and light use in Rembrandt's pictures. Everything is dark and the light accent is on the roses, great contrast so their beauty is emphasized! The blue accessory is beautiful too! Thank you, Ron!
