| I visited the Birmingham Botanical Gardens 2 weeks ago and saw some magnificent roses. In tribute to Memorial Day I thought I'd start us off with-- Wild Blue Yonder "Take Off" Wild Blue Yonder with Strike It Rich across walk Strike It Rich "Table for 1 now available" Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day. So thankful for all the soldiers who have served and continue to serve our country. |

| In tribute to Memorial Day I will add a rose of my own. This is Courageous. It was named for those who fought in the air for the allies in WWII. I've not had the luxury of visiting a rose garden for years, how fun for you! Great pictures, and I very much like the last one, Table for one. I tried looking it up on Help me find, but couldn't find it. Is there another name? |

| Courageous--I like that one and what it is named for. Oh, there is no Table for One--that's just my caption for the photograph! The last rose is actually Watercolor. |

| Love the roses--Wild Blue Yonder is especially lovely and appropriate for the occasion. Have you got more pics of the botanical gardens? Many of us never get a chance to visit such places and would love the vicarious experience through your excellent photos. Kate |

| I am very impressed by the Southern gardens you have posted--just beautiful and so well laid out and maintained. I have many fond memories of Alabama where some of my family lived (now all gone), so I especially cherish these photos. Thanks for posting them. Diane |
