A fairly new plant for me. I planted it last year.
Did two flushes and just sat there.

This year it's a little bigger and is making another flush. But then again it's not supposed to get very big.

The colour last year was very apricot and this year more peach.
I liked the form better last year. Love both colours
Very lovely fragrance. Strong fruity tea.
A nice little DA rose.

Charming. I like this year's color and muddled center.

I've come to appreciated the changing faces of these apricot/pinks.

    Thank you.
Next year is year three and I'm really hoping it takes off!

I'm hoping it blooms more than twice a year this year.

Does yours get any fragrance? Mine never did.
Love your photos - and what a nice way to exhibit them.

    Thank you guys!

Mine does have a fragrance. To ne it's a strong fruity tea smell.
I've noticed ones I find smell strongly of tea can be completely undetectable to others.
Only about half the people who smell it can smell anything.
And of those about half describe the scent as "light" or "barely there".
The rest smell what I do.

Oh, that's really interesting! I am, sadly, in the half that can't smell it. Oh well. It does bloom a lot though.

Gorgeous! I'm waiting on the bareroot that came a month ago to completely leaf out. Very small rose. As you mentioned about scent: my Mom can detect roses I consider "scent less" but can't detect the Bourbons. She can detect most Austin's, some Damasks but not Noisettes.
    Do you grow other Austin's?

Here's some of the blooms later on.
They faded to a nice apricot with peachy tones.

Mines still small! Have only had it a year. First year ever planting roses...it suffered lol.

I myself can't detect alot of old roses. And if I can it's never as strong as other people say it is.

I have only one other Austin as my space for roses is less than ideal, and small. If he made more small roses.
I am clearing space for one more but can't decide.

The other Austin I have is Abraham Darby and he's a machine! I love him acc his fragrance.

Ordphien, I just received Anne Boleyn, Wildeve and Portmeiron. They seem like they will be rather small--more like polyanthas. Pretty blooms and fragrance!
Another suggestion would be Crown Princess Margareta (which gets large but you can send her UP rather than WIDE). I've tied her to a tripod.
I have Tamora in a pot and she is pretty and smelly.
