The spring flush is mostly over, the wind has played havoc with most of the blooms, but I do have a few nice ones at this time. My three Julia Child bushes are all blooming. The ones pictured are from my surprise JC bush. It bloomed last year, but didn't look anything like these blooms do.

Beautiful, Sara! I lost my Love Song and Veterans' Honor this winter. I'm gonna miss those lovely blooms!

Seil - Thank you. I'm sad that you lost your Love Song and Veterans Honor, but from reading your other posts, I know you have a good attitude about it. I wasn't sure about my Love Song bushes. I have two, and one had to be pruned way back to the ground, and the other one didn't have much green left, but they are both looking good. It's really a guessing game when it comes to knowing how tender a rose is going to be. My Sheila's Perfumes both had to be cut to the ground, one has come back as Sheila's Perfume, the other one a very healthy Dr. Huey, I've gotten rid of it already.
