| I do love Buff Beauty, so I'm glad you found a way to make her bloom better. I've sometimes wondered about some other roses that are supposed to tolerate somewhat shady conditions. My experience with them was similar to yours with BB--the plant survives but doesn't put out much bloom. I think we just need to face it--most (all?) roses do better with more sunshine--unless they are getting too much sunshine in late afternoon when they like at least some partial shade. At least, that has been my own philosophy for the past several years. Kate |

| Yes, you are right about that! But we are subject to what we have to work with ! I sure wish my Austins had the morning sun, afternoon shade spots! They wilt every afternoon..... |

| Very nice photos. I am glad you are enjoying your BB and you have the right spot for it now. It looks beautiful! Mine has grown amazingly to fill a large tripod but the (too?) many blooms fade instantly to an ugly white and I can't even get a nice photo. It hasn't been all that hot, either. I am contemplating removing it . . . . |
