I have been so busy this year I've barely had time to get out and take pictures, let alone sort through them. But I finally got a chance, so here is what is blooming at my house. I couldn't resist posting multiples of the prettiest, sometimes I just can't choose which one is best.

iris
I rescued these iris from the backyard last fall during a project, I think they were planted by the owner before the previous owner of the home, they were totally overgrown with blackberries and hadn't bloomed in years. I'm thrilled with the color and I think they were happy to be saved.

One last Autumn Sunset that was nestled in with the Salvia chamaedryoides.

Thanks for looking!

Autumn Sunset is gorgeous of course, but I rather like the more delicate tones of Joyce Barden. Very lovely. And what a find on those iris--perfect for complementing your roses!

Your photo of Julia Child is just beautiful. Your irises go great with your lovely yellow roses! Good score.

Thanks everyone! I've been taking more pics, I'll post them when I get a chance ;o)

It's been a crazy year! Work and family life have been more exciting than usual, giving me less time to work in the garden. Despite that I spent the late winter and early spring tending my roses and fruit trees, then I got into trying to control the weeds, and now I realized that I'm late getting my veggy garden ready so I've been running around like a crazy person trying to get things in order so I can plant tomatoes.

I made a new rose bed next to my veg garden this year and I've been wanting to post pics of it, but I've been too busy. Eventually I'll get it all done... hopefully!
