I'll say they're blooming! Julia Child just joined my garden this year. I love the rich yellow. Isn't it fun to see the first bloom on a plant? Grace is beautiful.

Holy smoke, that's beautiful! I just planted Carding Mill and Grace this year, I am so hoping they resemble yours. I really think your Tea Clipper is pretty too. Congratulations on an amazing rose bloom.

How thoughtful to include full bush shots of your beautiful group of roses. I'm really taken with Tea Clipper and Carding Mill, the latter of which I've highly recommended to gardeners in hot summer climates. I hope you'll have more roses to show; garden shots would also be very appreciated.

    Thanks for the nice comments.
Amerique you are going to love, love, love Julia Child. She just blooms like crazy all season long for me. Carol, thank you, this is year 5 growing roses, and just about everything I've learned came from here and my friends at Roses Unlimited. I'm very pleased with the number of blooms this year. Sidos-House in the heat my Carding Mill looks more peach than pink, but we have had a really cool spring here in 7b S.C. Thank you Kate, so far my plants have been really healthy, hoping to keep black spot away this year! Ingrid, thank you. I like including shots of the entire plant so others will see how it grows. It's always nice to see the blooms, but before I decide if it goes in my yard I like to find out how the plant grows. Still in the starting stages, this will be all the pictures for awhile. I'm planting more this year, and debudding Lady Emma Hamilton as she didn't grow well her first year.

Mzstitch, I love seeing the bush shots, also, And love Pat Henry and Bill Patterson of RU. About 5 or 6 years ago on the drive to a district rose show in Augusta, I stopped by Roses Unlimited and then Pat's home to view all her roses. Came away with a fully loaded car (not SUV) of the most delightful roses. And great memories. Envy you being close to them.

Oh what a pretty Julia Child hedge! I love it with the white fence in the background.

I always love the look of Grace too...the pointy petals are just so different. I'll have to add her one of these days.

Thanks again all. Yes Julia Child is definitly a star in my yard. I was outside tending to her today and she has just as many blooms today on the 26th of May as she did on the 19th, and she will bloom continuously all summer long. She's wonderful.

I agree with everything you've said about Julia. Your JC hedge and fence are mouth watering, just stunning. The color of Carding Mill is lovely and just a little different. Grace is exquisite in her perfection of form. I don't think I've seen her before. You've done a beautiful job with your roses. Diane

Here I am again, enjoying these sumptuous blooms, and still wishing I had the room for a hedge of Julia, one of my favorite roses. I just have two JCs, but they are so big, they're almost a hedge unto themselves. JC is probably one of the best all around roses to come out in recent years (I think). Diane

Your Tea Clipper caught my eye but Julia Child wins this round. It's just so beautiful against that white fence!
