Roses as the temps climb

Late April, now May. Very very hot here lately, high nineties. Here are some recent photos.

Honey Dijon

Eureka

Hot Tamale, a mini still in full bloom since early April

Kaleidoscope

Eye Paint, no trellis due to new fence. It looks better free than on its brass trellis, I think. I cut it to the ground in winter.

St Patrick

Love and Peace

Sultry, a favorite

Crimson Bouqet, a non-fading red

Kathy - Some very nice roses. Especially like the Eureka and Crimson Bouquet, they are all lovely!

I'm not too fond of yellow, but St Patrick looks so lush and beautiful.

Kathy, they're all beautiful! I'm surprised since I know it's been scalding hot and dry there. Those sprays of Honey Dijon and Hot Tamale are amazing! And I think I agree, Eye Paint seem so love not being trellised!

That's strange - I see them now. ???

Wow! That's a bunch of lovely flowers! Those are sure heat tolerant.

Thanks for showing us these lovelies.
