| I absolutely love Descanso! We visited it several times and each time, they have different garden displays. The tulips are amazing. It is rose heaven, of course. If I remember correctly, it was only open to non-members in the afternoon, so we went to the LA Arboretum rose garden in the morning--lovely Austins there, too, but not on the scale of Descanso. It is certainly worth making a trip to Descanso for rose time! There is a really good restaurant nearby, too, but the name is failing me. It is very popular and also a not to miss stop. Thanks for reminding me of this great spot. |

| Julia Child is staggeringly gorgeous!!! What a winner of a rose. I also really liked Morden Blush. That's such a great rose too!! They were all a delight to look at. Thanks for all three shots of Descanso!! Carol |
