Some blooms in my spring garden

I don't have any new roses to show off, but they are all so lovely in the springtime that I thought I'd show off a couple.

Isn't this an wonderful pic of Pretty Jessica?

I'm showing off Molineux here because I almost lost him last summer due to drought, and I wasn't sure if he'd survive our brutal winter. But here he is--a bit shorter than usual, but reasonably healthy.

Changing the subject a bit here, but this striking purple iris is new--was sent to me as a freebie. I like it.

The pink rose --Pompenella--is semi-new. This is its second year and its begun to bloom like crazy. I like how it looks next to my oldest rose--the red Eutin.

Wish I gotten my camera out sooner to take more pictures. It's supposed to rain all this week, so that will probably cut down on picture-taking.

Hope you enjoyed these.

Kate

I LOVE your new iris!!! That is gorgeous!!! Lucky you!!!! I want one too!!! :)

I can't wait for my Pretty Jessica to bloom. It was a bareroot last year and didn't bloom. Yours is stunning!!! So beautiful!!! I just love the inside petals.

I didn't realize that Molineux is THAT yellow! Another really pretty rose.

Love them all
Carol
