Julia Child and Marmalade Skies

This is the second year of this bed. It's getting full! Sorry- my camera refuses to photograph Marmalade Skies- it's just too bright, I guess.

Hosenemesis these are gorgeous beautiful photos! The third photo really flows and interweaves, and I love the silver plant and tiny daisy clusterings with the irises. Julia Child and Marmalade Skies are equal to each other in loveliness!

Hosenemesis, I am so sorry to bring a dark shadow to your thread but I have a rose friend who is struggling with RRD worries about her Julia Child and she needs photos...

If you have time can you help her out as well? Hers is a pretty young plant like yours unlike Gail's much older J.C. so if anything, I think your photo could also help round out all comparisons to make sure that indeed her Julia Child may have RRD...

Thank you for your kind comments. Mostly the "flow" and "design" of the garden is the result of good cropping with the camera.
Serena- my Julia Child is not very thorny at all.
And Irisgal, the other rose is Marmalade Skies. It's day-glo. It may have to go, since it seems to be susceptible to rust.
