Oh my, so that's where you gardening talent came from! Stunning! More! Is that a Cupressus cashmeriana so gloriously weeping in the background?

Nice shots! What is the weeping tree ? in the top photo. Sweet Musette still ranks as my fav pink/lav and she looks as tho she holds her own with the alstroemeria, lily, perlargoniums & roses. Not Yves. Marilyn is a good looking rose. Does anyone remember the two of them in a movie? Oh that was the other Yves.

Renee, what a beautiful garden your mom has! She does such a wonderful job in terms of combining colors and textures! Lucky you that you get Bishop's Castle from her. I want that rose, too ;-)! Christina

Your mom's Guy is spectacular. I grew it once, it was pretty pathetic and didn't survive the winter (many other tender roses did). I do remember that I liked the apple scent. I guess it needs a warm climate like yours!! I really enjoyed looking at that rose (of course, everything else too) - it's not too common! Thanks! Carol

Beautiful, beautiful garden Renee! I agree with Christina... your mom really has an eye for combining plants! I can't quite tell, but are those white and purply flowers pelargoniums or alstromeria! They look like the pansy-faced pelargoniums, but I don't see the pelargonium leaves, so I must assume they are alstromeria?

Thanks for all the kind comments. The weeping tree is a Weeping Blue Tolleson Juniper. Beth those are alstroemeria. The misnamed rose is Perdita. Wendy |
