Finally started to get some blooms this week after a long winter and early spring, the first to open last Sunday was Champagne Cocktail   This one is turning into a nice zone 5 rose,keeps coming back and the variations of blooms make this one a keeper The next to open was Distant Drums  Then MidnightBlue also turning into a good zone 5 rose just doing its thing  These next three came from For Love of Roses last year after surviving being planted a little late in the season The Streak(the first picture was from last year)    Grand Old Opry(there was some tangerine orange in the middle of these which my camera didn't get which made them more interesting then they appear here)   Peppermint Kisses(a cute little red white stripe mini)   Scentimental  Festival Fanfare  Mardi Gras  Star Ruby(new this year bought locally)  Ketchup and Mustard(also new this year)   That's it for now, thanks for looking. |

| Kousa- I really haven't sniff at The Streak yet for the fragrance and Champagne Cocktail I haven't notice a strong fragrance with that one either, sorry I'm terrible at noticing the fragrances of roses because it seems like most of them don't have a strong scent to them. |

| Lovely roses! I especially love Heirloom - wowza - stunner!! Didn't realize it was that high centered. Another one I really love is Peppermint Kisses. Really pretty. And your Ketchup and Mustard just GLOWS!! Carol |

| Wow! Looks like it was worth the wait. Your roses look great! Sweetvenge, I would love to know how you post so many pictures at the same time. When I try to post more than one, this site just replaces the first pic with the 2nd. Obviously, I am not very tech savvy. |

| dizzlylizzy415-i first upload the pics to Photobucket, than from my library on Photobucket you left click on your mouse the HTML code(it will highlight in blue)then right click to copy the photo then go to your window that has your garden web post(forgot to mention you need two windows on your browser) then right click to paste the photo where you want it on your post. Its much more easier then it might seem. I think we all have a little tech savvy in us. |
