Stretch Johnson -- first blooms

After admiring Stretch Johnson for many years I found out Rogue Valley Roses offered it so I ordered a baby this past Winter.

SJ has grown well and is starting to show its unique "painted" features.

I have read this rose is supposed be at its best in the Fall.
So I'll post the Fall display when we get there.

Danty

Very nice! It reminds me of Priscilla Burton which I ordered from them this spring...love the painted roses, but they always blackspot for me.
