Again , I have to say , that to me , this is the most beautiful striped rose . Sadly , prone to diseases . Many descriptions says that it repeats , but I grow this one since 1994 , four plants in different locations and climates and regardless of how I pruned it (or not) , it has never , ever set a single flower after the first flush . Still , a beautiful , beautiful fragrant rose .

An absolutely gorgeous rose. It would be wonderful if it did rebloom, but every book I have on roses says it does not rebloom, and I'm surprised you've heard otherwise. Still, well worth growing for those sumptuous blooms.

My fav is the 2nd picture because of all the fat buds ready to burst.

Every time I've seen photos of this rose I just drool. I LOVE this rose. I agree - too, too bad it doesn't repeat. But wow - what a rose!!!!
