that is so beautiful Henrik! Hey, if you can't get any identifiers you can always join or post at the Peter Beales forum. They are Old Garden Roses experts there! A very friendly, nice bunch of people. For sure they'd be able to ID it! someone there lives in Romania as well, whereas you are in Slovenia? His name is Rosarum and I would think you and he would have very similar climates since you are at the same latitudes. I realize you're not exactly in adjacent countries but the fact that you are both pretty near the mountains is another shared characteristic. Sometimes for rose information it helps to have people from the same climate areas too. instructions on how to post your photos for PB By the way, I love your new camera. I bet you are enjoying it to the fullest as well!

I too love the second photo of the "cabbage" head, but the last one just seems to float.

Very beautiful, Henrik. A truly sumptuous rose, somewhat along the lines of Baronne Prevost, but apparently more cupped. Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures. I hope you'll consider also posting some of these older roses on the gallery at the Antique Rose Forum. I'm sure they'd be very much appreciated. Ingrid
