I had to cut all the blooms off my Francis Blaise bush. High winds broke a lot of branches.
I cut the rose short, it should be all right in a while.
And for now, I have a huge bouquet of Francis Blaise. My God, it is fragrant!!!!

Absolutely magnificent. I hope the blooms last a long time in the house. They're really lovely.

When the bush is all empty, the vase is clear full.....aren't rosarians a bright side looking kind of lot ? We don't even need glasses ;-) If it smells half as good as it looks well.............................

Sorry to hear about the damage. It must have been a lovely sight, with all those blooms.

Good job it is still going to be OK, in the meantime, you have this lovely vase full.
Beautiful.

I'm floored. W-O-W ! Thank you so much for sharing. Can you speak to its size, repeat and disease resistance. Blooms are beyond stunning.

Thanks everybody, for your kind comments!

Harmony, if you don't have Francis Blaise and still have a room for a rose, I will highly recommend it.
The bush is of medium size - about 5'x5', full, with nice foliage. With prompt deadheading (mine is planted in a high traffic area and I always am good with deadheading this one) it blooms non-stop all season long.
In my climate, it might get some insignificant Black Spot.
