You've got the makings of a fine garden. It will be interesting in a couple years to compare this new garden with the more mature one. In the meantime, Grand Dame blooming so well foreshadows that lovely roses you will have blooming in the future. Kate

Thanks Kate! The thing is we rent and I have this feeling we wont be here in a few years so all the hard work I am doing right now to make it pretty will be gone and I would have to dig up and replant some ugh.. But if we do move it will be to the country or Im not going ;^)
RE: My little garden in the works

Yeah, hear you about the moving - but it all works out. I'm much happier with my garden now than I was at my old house (I complained enough though!). Love the open bloom. What a lovely color!! Carol

Some nice rose blooms,..and your Daughter will always remember that Sunflower,..its a picture to keep. Shame you will move in the future,..but at least you know you will be moving,..and make sure its to the countryside.

Glengarry thank you :) yes I can't take the city no more I am a born and raised country girl :) I will miss this house though its the house my daughter grew up since 6m old :( that alone I don't want to go but then walk out side and that changes lol

Hi Jessica, yes you will miss your present house and its memories,..in particular as its where your daughter has grown up to now,..but the longer you stay while longing for the countryside,..the more memories are building up,..not forgetting everytime you begin working on your present garden you become aware you will have to leave that as well,..so work on making your wish to live in the countryside come true,..its in your genes.
