Beautiful!
What is it about Double Delight that every single time I see a picture of it I stop and just stare at its beauty and I can almost smell it on my computer. I completely understand why it's on so many peoples top ten list. It is simply breathtaking and coupled with that fragrance....oh my!

densie......I can't decide if DD is enchanting, seductive, intoxicating or D) All of the above and more. The coloring of each is so unique but that fragrance. We had a first time visitor over for dinner last night and as I gave her a tour, I let her order her own personal bouquet which I will make for her tomorrow. She loves hydrangeas so they will form the foundation and the roses will be DD, CP, DJ, AD, GJ, LE, and EG. I will post a pic of it tomorrow, it will be huge in both size and odiferousness :-)

kousa, CP vaulted to near the top of my favorites after just her first year. She actually reminds me colorwise of the Dream Come True I lost only a wehole lot more fragrant.. I only have a couple in pots, her and DD but boy do they both produce !!!

Thanks Jimbob, you can eat free at my fruit salad bar any old time :-)

Some more DD and friends......

Another fan of Chicago Peace here. And just as enchanting in person as in pictures. Love the angle of the 2nd shot. One rose that loves the camera.

Wow! Beautiful blooms! I love the hydrangeas and carnations. And really love you CHICAGO PEACE. I lost my original one yrs ago and just can't seem to get a replacement that either survives, or is actually CP. It's one of my all-time favorite roses just because of the beauty and range of coloring it gets.

RE: Scenes of Summer

CP takes a rather quick plunge from vibrant and bright to muted and demure, it's part of her charm ;-)

I spent most of the day in bed trying to overcome a bug but had to go out to feed the fish and captured this first bloom of the season from Brandy..............

RE: Scenes of Summer

Wonderful pics of lovely roses, Chicago Peace looks awesome. Love the hydrangea pics as well, most of my mopheads took a big hit this past winter and are slowly chugging along, although my Annabelle's and Limelight haven't missed a beat.
