I've posted enough pictures recently and I am trying to refrain from doing it. I couldn't keep from posting this picture of Pink Peace hiding behind its foliage, kind of gives it a look of mystery.

Wow!!! Is that a VIBRANT pink or what? The dichotomy of the vibrancy and the shyness really makes the picture!! Carol
|
Thanks, Carol. That is a vibrant pink, isn't it It was one of those "Kodak moments" for a rose!

Sara-Ann, it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing. You tempted me to order it for the next season even though I don't have a lot of room left. Anyone who live in/near the Bay Area can comment on its resistance to powdery mildew? Wonder why AARS rating is only 6.6 for it on Regan website (Pink Peace Info).

Thank you Denise, that was sweet of you say that. Caroll - It does have a wonderful fragrance! And thank you bayarea-girl. It has always been a good rose for me. Right now mine have a lot of buds and some of the blooms are small, but it has been hot here, that is typical of most of my hybrid teas and floribundas when the temps are high. Hopefully people in your area will know how it performs there. I couldn't really comment on the AARS rating, I don't enough about that.

One of my Peace blooms was doing the same thing today, very common, I'm sure, I think it makes a pretty picture.
