This is a bloom from my new Francis Meilland Rose bush. I will have more later, it is tall like Queen Elizabeth, but pale. The flowers are a little fuller than Johan Strauss, although the bud was tiny and non-descript it opened with a large spiral inside, and a real teatime fragrance, like Darjeeling , if you ask me, not old rosey smelling, but strong not faint. This one was taken off the bush when rainstorm was coming, and I did not want to miss it. It was not perfect, brownish, but perfect inside. I think the color is mis represented here by my convenient pocket camera It is baby pink, deeper in the center, and not so peachy as the photo makes it seem. The color is closer to the url for the brand that I have attached.
