New roses & some bonus

A couple things I just put into the ground and some stuff that's been there for a few weeks now! Most of it is doing great too.

Zephirine Drouhin, recovering from aphids & black spot and just absolutely taking off. She's shot off a couple of long canes and is just covered in flower clusters that should start blooming soon.

Joseph's Coat... not looking too great. I haven't seen any new growth come up, I'm wondering if its getting over a little bit of transplant shock.

Elle. No new flowers yet, but she's healthy with plenty of new growth and one big bud about ready to pop!

Ebb Tide. Also recovering from a bad bought of black spot, but the new growth is thankfully free of it. I can't wait for it to start throwing blooms of the proper color XD

Dick Clark. Just put him in the ground today and I cannot BELIEVE the flush of flowers it has. My jaw dropped when I saw this guy at the nursery, amazingly healthy plant

Scentimental. Also put into the ground today - not as huge as Dick Clark, but man, the smell is to DIE for.

Bonus new Elderberry Bush! I'm gonna make me some jam :D

And bonus bleeding heart; isn't it just darling?

Isn't it fun watching your new treasures develop and explode into bloom! You have some goodies there. Enjoy!

Very colorful blooms, the jam sounds wonderful!

I love Bleeding Heart, one of my favorite spring flowers.

You'll love Zephi when she gets bigger! I also like to put fruiting shrubs in my garden, its fun in the fall/winter to watch the birds eat the leftover berries :)

They look great! My ZD is all cane and leaves, no blooms yet so I'm terrifically jealous of your little flowers! :D And I just love your bleeding heart. They are so pretty.

I've gone and done it again, more stuff! Well, the bands I got from RVR were awaiting me when I got home from work, so I unpacked everything and potted them up!

In the back (from the left;) we have Dragon's Blood, Nightmoss, and a no id mystery rose. In the front, from the left, we have Augustine Guinoisseau, Jeri Jennings, and Brown Velvet! They're now sitting in pots awaiting better planting weather - I'm a little afraid to stick them in the ground right now due to the ridiculous dry spell we've been having here in indy.

Jeri Jennings came out of the box with one perfect, tiny bloom. I view it as a sign of good things to come!

And I couldn't resist picking up this one at a local nursery. Snowfire. Hopefully I can keep the diseases off of it. I almost picked up another Joseph's Coat to replace mine, but eh... it still has green on it, it just isn't showing new growth, so I'm going to give it some more time and hope that its just building up some nice roots.

Wow, RVR sent you some fabulous bands! Augustine Guinoisseau, Jeri Jennings, and Brown Velvet sound very intriguing! Can't wait to see them bloom!

Looking like a very promising new garden, Lothlin! I truly do wish you the best of luck with Snowfire. I've had it for years because it's a favorite of my brother and when it does bloom, and those blooms do open, it's gorgeous. But it is a disease magnet!
