Some more 'Happy Child' for rootygirl

I love showing this rose off, so here you go! A couple of these are a little dark, but the blooms are so bright that they wash out really easily. They are a real, sunny, yellow bloom, though.

I don't see much of this rose. I almost considered buying it online last year, but chose to get Pretty Jessica instead. The resemblance is quite similar to a 'happy child' though in the 1st pic.

Happy Child is a very happy looking rose. Just wish mine were a little more vigorous, but I love my wimpish HC anyway. Maybe it will grow up by next year?

jeffcat, that was so perfect, thanks! lol

dublinbay, that Happy Child (two of them actually), planted late just last year, is/are already many times more vigorous than my Jude the Obscure band planted THREE years ago. :/ So maybe you and I got poor bands.
