Thank you both for the kind words. Carol - I have 2 large rose beds, 3 smaller ones, plus several containers. I have a huge yard and pretty good soil in my front yard, which we've amended a lot. Most of the soil in back is really rocky. I think most roses do well in containers, that's been my experience. I noticed you live in Zone 3a, how long is your growing season?
