OMG I am in love with Fragrant Cloud!

This is my first time growing Fragrant Cloud- I bought it as a grafted 3 gallon from my favorite Chicagoland garden center- Gethsemane Garden Center.

I had seen photos of this rose on HMF but nothing prepared me for how BRIGHT and happy it is. I can see it from far off, it announces itself :) And the fragrance is simply to die for :D

I adore it! In fact, I ended up buying a second one soon after the first I liked it so much.

Yes, we also love your Fragrant Cloud! The form is fabulous! Mine when I had it looked fun, fluffy, and charming (but not as pretty as yours) when it was healthy, but sadly as a tree rose it succumbed to rain canker because of all our rains. None of my original tree roses made it because of the rains getting into the bud unions and rotting them out, so this time my new ones I put under my sheltered front porchway...

You definitely need to put up yours on HMF! What a lovely capture of its colors and prettiness!

But I do think once your Ferdinand Pichard opens you will be the most excited when it comes to FP's FRAGRANCE from Heaven! Let me know what you think of FP's fragrance once it blooms!!!! I thought I was in Paradise when I smelled it!

Hey, where is your beautiful pup??! Puppy Eluane wanted to say hello but couldn't find her (she is sad now...) We miss your beautiful sheltie!!!!

It is a show stopper color! I need to move mine because it isn't getting enough sun so it's doesn't bloom as well.

I just bought this rose after researching fragrant roses on the web. It's the closest I could find to the wonderfully fragrant Tropicana I've had to replace. Your photos are lovely. I can't wait to be able to sniff my new roses!

Thanks, you guys :)

Serena, here's a pic of my pup from this afternoon. She was sunning herself and I got a quick pic :)

Awww, that is soooo Sweet, Eluane would love playing with her. Your pup is such a sweetie and from that view she looks like a Twin of Eluane....Eluane also has that white tipped, plumey tail, the dark ears and white neck and white forelegs too! I bet they have the same sweet, docile personality! What great playmates they would make! So happy to see her again!
