Second Cycle Blooms

The second cycle of blooms is never as heavy or as simultaneous as the first cycle, but I'm always eager to see them after their post-first cycle rest. They kind of straggle in to the party the second time around, however. Here are a few of the latest.

Double Delight (ht)--always a double pleasure.

Me too, me too--shouts out Pretty Jessica (Austin). Look at those buds!
Photobucket

Lady of Shalott--This lovely Austin continues to impress me in all ways.
Photobucket

An "artsy" shot of Mrs. John Laing (hp)--wasn't planned, but I thought the effect was quite interesting.
Photobucket

Eden Climber--for those of you wondering about how she re-blooms, here is Eden in the second bloom cycle. Not blooming as heavily as in the first cycle, but still lovely.
Photobucket

Double Knock Out, Cherry Parfait (in background), and white Regale lilies--while Knock Outs are not my favorites, they are a reliable blotch of bright color that contrasts nicely with the newly opened lilies. I like Double Knock Out when she work WITH the other plants rather than trying to steal the spotlight just on herself.

Here's my cute little welcoming garden dwarf--the sign he's leaning on say "welcome." Gorgeous blue lobelia in the pot at his feet.

Hope you enjoyed the tour of some of my second-cycle bloomers.

Kate

Spectacular lilies and roses, very colorful blooms.

I like the lobelia and gnome....

I have a hanging basket with lobelia and learned recently that hummingbirds like it.
