Roses everywhere

Snowfire - keeping in mind that none of my bushes are anywhere near mature, this is still proving to be, consistently, one of my favorite roses.

Cl. Joseph's Coat - the bloom is lovely, but the bush its self is doing its best to pretend it isn't a climbing rose.

Sharifa Asma - just planted!

Jerri Jennings - The plant is still tiny but putting out such lovely flushes!

Dragon's Blood - Blooms are looking a little faded in the heat, but it isn't a fresh flush. Its blooming constantly, so I'll have some new pretties in a day or two

Dick Clark - A bit of a creamy-yellow center, but the sun is turning them bright pink

Falstaff

Bonus bleeding heart

Bonus daylily - Velvet ribbons!

Beautiful roses! I love your Snowfire, I bought that one this year but haven't seen a bloom yet. Falstaff looks so royal, is it strongly scented? Your lily is striking! What a neat color combo.

Pretty blooms! SNOWFIRE is one of my oldest plants. Watch out for those killer thorns!

Snowfire does really have some awful thorns - very thick stems too, I have a hard time pinching off the old blooms and find myself having to resort to pruners. Dick Clark is probably worse about thorns though, I come back bleeding every time I touch him.

Falstaff has a fairly strong scent, though I don't think the plant has really hit its potential yet - I keep getting a lot of half-balled blooms. It's probably the second strongest scented of the group I posted... Sharifa Asma is a touch stronger, I'd say.

I'm basing this all off of my Zephirine Drouhin bush which spends all of its time trying to make the entire garden smell like a perfume shop though, so my idea of strong may be skewed a little.

Falstaff is looking really good more an immature bush! Mine is four years old, and not putting out blooms like that!

Also, loving the daylily! I really like its color contrast!

They're all beautiful! That photo of Snowfire reminds me of why I kept it so long but in the end I had to shovel prune the poor one cane wonder.
